How to review the changes
- View and download all the proposed changes on the ABCB website right here.
- Simply scroll to the bottom of the page and download the volumes relevant to your business.
- However, we warn you, it’s not a quick read. The good news is, ABCB has used good old track changes, so just look out for the adjustments noted in red and green.
The best way to comment on the proposed changes
- All feedback must be lodged via the online survey here.
- Download the comment form within the survey link, complete it, then upload.
- The first public feedback stage is open until 11.59 pm AEST on Friday 2 July 2021.
- Second stage public feedback, which includes content relating to energy efficiency and condensation project work, will be released on Monday 19 July 2021.

- In an effort to communicate our national construction standards in the most user-friendly manner, ABCB will also implement a new structure and format including removing complex lists and sub-clauses where possible and moving graphs and tables to central locations.
