A pool safety certificate, also known as a Form 23, is a document that confirms your pool or spa meets the current relevant safety standards and regulations. A pool safety certificate is required in Queensland when selling or leasing a property with a regulated pool. This includes pools and spas that are inflatable or portable. The certificate is issued to the property owner after an inspection by a licensed pool safety inspector. The certificate is valid for two years for non-shared pools and one year for shared pools.
