LANGUAGE, LITERACY, NUMERACY
AND DIGITAL SKILLS

LLND stands for Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital skills. An LLND assessment checks whether you have the basic skills needed to successfully complete your course and confidently use learning technology.

It is not an exam and there is no pass or fail; instead, it helps TSC Training understand what support you may need.

The information gathered through this quiz is used to identify and provide any additional support required in areas such as language, literacy, learning and assessment, ensuring students achieve the best possible outcomes from their training in relation to learning objectives, career opportunities and skill development.

Under the Standards for RTOs 2025, Registered Training Organisations in Australia are required to assess students’ LLND skills before enrolment. This process helps ensure your course is the right level for you, identify any extra learning support needs, and sets you up for success from the start.

TSC Training will provide a link to access the online quiz, which includes multiple‑choice and short‑answer questions, takes approximately 30–60 minutes to complete, allows three attempts to achieve a 100% satisfactory result, and is aligned to the level of certification you wish to enroll in.

 

If you already hold a qualification at the same level or higher than the one you’re enrolling in, you may be exempt from completing this quiz. For example, if you have a Certificate III qualification, you are not required to complete the LLND for our Certificate II in Workplace Skills course. This qualification completion evidence can be uploaded directly to your enrolment form.
